About The Position

A leading transport refrigeration company in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Reefer Mechanic to join their growing team!

Requirements

• 3 years of transport refrigeration or related technician experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to work on-call for after-hours service needs
• Must provide own tools
• Able to lift 60 lbs and perform frequent bending, climbing, standing, and moving
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair reefer unit cooling, electrical, and refrigeration systems
• Perform leak detection, system charging, and routine preventive maintenance
• Repair or replace compressors, refrigerant lines, condensers, evaporators, and engine seals
• Read fault codes, troubleshoot electrical issues, and follow manufacturer specifications
• Maintain accurate parts usage, work independently, and follow all safety standards
