Refrigeration Mechanic
About The Position
AMMONIA REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN - $26-29/hr 3rd Shift - 11:30p - 7:00a ( Monday - Thursday) Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration experience working on compressors, ammonia pumps condensing towers, and full understanding of the refrigeration cycle. Electrical: Knowledge of components and equipment including the use of specialized equipment, power sources, ac/dc motors and transformers. Welding/Cutting: Knowledge and utilization of PPE and safety for tasks, techniques ( tig /stick/mig), set up of equipment, basic gas cutting, proper grounding and equipment maintenance. Computer operation and understanding of PLC operation Adheres to all safety policies and cooperates with all regulatory, factory and divisional safety standards/requirements and department(s). Identifies and reports all hazards immediately. Performs all quality checks as required by position and/or product and as documented within factory quality system. Excellent mechanical aptitude Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time.
