About The Position

Come be part of our Engineering team as the Commercial Kitchen Refrigeration Mechanic at the Hyatt Regency DFW located across from Terminal C of the DFW Airport. The Hyatt Regency DFW features 811 guestrooms and 92,000 square feet of function space and is a part of the Global Hyatt Hotels Managed portfolio. What are you responsible for? The Commercial Kitchen Refrigeration Mechanic is primarily responsible for the maintenance of our kitchen equipment throughout the hotel including climate control systems such as refrigeration storage units, ice machines, and beverage equipment. Other equipment or projects may be assigned as needed. This person must have a strong knowledge ofmercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, controls trouble shooting, and schematic reading. Requirements

• Universal CFC certification
• Strong knowledge ofmercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, controls trouble shooting, and schematic reading.
• Previous engineering experience and a CFC certification is required.
• EPA Universal License
• OSHA 10
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage your day effectively
• Physical Dexterity: The job entails small andpact areas w heavy machinery is constantly moved in and out
• Safety Awareness: Thorough knowledge of the safety measures at hand can prevent accidents and injuries
• Basicputer skills and be able to navigate a handheld device.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC or Refrigeration Trade schoolpletion or equivalent experience preferred
