About The Position

Entry Level Refrigeration Maintenance positions are responsible for cleaning, scraping, sanding, and painting refrigeration related equipment in engine room areas, non-production areas inside and outside of the facility and roof. Other duties will include sweeping and mopping of all electrical rooms, sweeping scrubbing, and washing of engine room areas, hydraulic rooms, pump rooms, air compressor pads, roof areas to include in and around condensers and control banks. Lubing all refrigeration related equipment to include motors, bearings, gear boxes, in the production area, engine rooms, and roof. Assisting in the maintenance and P.M.’s of all equipment associated with this facility. Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders, notifications, and fill out the daily documentation that is required for our system. Make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Occasionally must be willing to lift up to 70 lbs. without assistance. Must be willing to monitor the work area continuously during your shift. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Must be willing to work from elevated surfaces such as the roof, sky track, catwalks, and ladders at a height of two feet to 60 feet of the ground. Janitorial duties will include sweeping and mopping of all electrical rooms. Must be able to work in confine spaces and become HAZ-MAT Level IV and Respirator certified and maintain this qualification Other duties will be assigned by supervisor. Must be willing to work in a dusty environment and in temperatures of 50 degrees F to -40 degrees with proper PPE. Requirements

Applicants must have 2 year prior industrial refrigeration maintenance experience or equivalent technical education.
Must have six months of consecutive work history with one employer in the prior 12 months to be considered
90 days wait period from last termination date.
Candidates cannot have worked for Tyson more than 2 times before
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Entry level applicants must have Electrical or Industrial maintenance experience.
This position requires working every weekend.
Must be able to work in confine spaces and become HAZ-MAT Level IV and Respirator certified and maintain this qualification.
Applicants must have prior Industrial Maintenance experience or Equivalent technical education.
You must have three months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last twelve months to be considered for this position.
Must not have worked for any Tyson Foods, Inc. locations more than 2 times.
