About The Position
This position is responsible for performing scheduled tours through designated areas, logging room temperatures, along with equipment readings and conditions. The applicant will share responsibility for all equipment included in the plant refrigeration system, plant ventilation, steam generation process, water supply throughout the facility, compressed air system, fire protection system, HVAC's, and any other equipment making up the plant utility systems. As a member of the Maintenance Department, the team member is expected to provide timely, position response/support as needed to production operations. Proficiency in reading and writing is required; the ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels is essential. The applicant must be able to bend, climb, twist, lift, and work in all environments of our processing facility. The applicant will abide by GMP and SSOP, maintain 98% attendance, be able to attain HAZMAT certification, adhere to all safety policies, and perform other duties as necessary and as assigned by department lead and/or supervisor. Must be able to work assigned shifts and weekends.
