We are seeking a skilled and motivated Refrigeration and Utilities Manager to oversee the ammonia operations and maintenance of critical building systems at our frozen pie factory and home to the famous Mrs. Smiths and Edwards brands, located in Stilwell, OK.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of utilities or maintenance management   experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and partnering cross-functionally
  • Strong technical expertise in ammonia refrigeration and PSM, with working knowledge of electrical and   hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with SAP or similar CMMS/ERP systems preferred.
  • Must possess management/supervisory experience.
  • Must have technical expertise inelectrical, hydraulics, PSM and ammonia systems.
  • Prior experience infood manufacturing with exposure to USDA/FDA regulations strongly recommended.
  • Ability to manage up to corporatepartners.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, andprocedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret a variety ofinstructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to calculate financial figures (productcosting, standards) and equipment performance.
  • Intermediate personal computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and upper management.
  • Ability toeffectively manage employees.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical activities,including lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, and other activities as needed.
  • Ability tostand and walk on concrete for long periods of time; Ability to work in cold and/or hot temperatures for long periodsof time.
  • Ability to understand simple instructions, training materials, and product labeling.
  • Ability to performbasic math functions.
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently with hands, continuously reaching and performingrepetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
  • Ability to work as a team and interact professionally with co-workers.

Nice To Haves

  • CMRP, Lean, or Six   Sigma certifications a plus.
  • SAPexperience beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee safe, reliable operation and maintenance of all plant utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, boilers, steam, wastewater, and environmental systems.
  • Lead and develop utility and maintenance teams, ensuring effective staffing, training, safety performance,   and alignment with production needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with PSM, OSHA, HazMat, Lockout/Tagout, and all applicable local, state, and federal   safety and environmental regulations.
  • Direct maintenance and reliability activities to maximize uptime, including preventive maintenance,   equipment installation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track and report key performance metrics (safety, uptime, cost, and asset reliability) to drive accountability   and cost-effective operations.
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean/TPM practices and active involvement in capital planning and     project execution.

Benefits

  • The base salary range for this position is $104,625 to $174,375 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance.
