The Refrigeration Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing client relationships with a focus on commercial refrigeration systems. Responsibilities will also include developing a positive customer relationship while continually managing every aspect of the account(s) to ensure a successful partnership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in refrigeration sales, account management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing customer relationships
  • Familiarity with facility management operations and processes
  • Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
  • Proficient with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • experience in the grocery, retail, or food service industries
  • technical training or background in HVAC/R systems

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial refrigeration accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with facility management teams
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored refrigeration service solutions
  • Partner with internal service teams to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery
  • Conduct regular virtual and on-site client meetings to review performance and align expectations
  • Respond to service issues with urgency and professionalism
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross-selling services
  • Maintain detailed records of client communications, proposals, and service agreements
  • Share client feedback with internal teams to improve offerings and service delivery
  • Work closely with operations and dispatch to meet service expectations
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
