Marathon Petroleum Company LP, a recognized leader in the energy industry, is accepting applications for a Lab Tester position in the Mandan, ND location. This position offers immediate responsibility and a generous benefit package. The Lab Tester is considered an essential and active member that supports the front-line Refinery teams. The Lab Tester has a primary objective to perform lab operations in a safe, environmentally sound, and reliable manner. This objective is accomplished through the acquirement of a wide variety of Lab technical skills. In addition, the establishment of proactive and planned work practices, adherence to established procedures, the development of the ability to anticipate lab problems in advance, the capability to troubleshoot or respond to problems quickly, and the adoption of a culture of continuous improvement. The Lab runs on a 24-hour schedule and will require rotating shift work.
