The individual will also be responsible for answering patient inquiries and taking messages for follow-up. Additionally, the role includes assisting providers in completing all medical documentation required for referral services, following specific procedures as directed by the Nurse Supervisor. Participation in staff meetings and other meetings as instructed is also expected. Maintaining confidentiality within the workplace and the community is crucial, as is handling protected health information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
