As a referral specialist you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our care delivery. You will ensure that patient referrals and all related paperwork, data and tracking are completed on a daily basis. Functions as general office support in the clinical area and provides good customer service to all customers of ONE Health Systems, Inc. Handles all phone calls appropriately in a timely manner. Appropriately records phone messages and ensures that the messages are tasked to the correct Provider. Responsible for ensuring that all relevant laboratory, testing results, office notes and patient correspondence are forwarded to Referral organization in a timely manner. . Assists with monitoring tracking systems to ensure that results are received. IE: Pap, lab and referral. Assists front desk with missed appointments that need to be rescheduled and documents in the patients electronic health record. Assists other departments such as front desk when needed. Other duties as assigned
