Requirements
- Adaptive problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance terminology
- Previous experience in home health and hospice.
- Keen attention to detail
- Service oriented mindset
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable automobile
- Proof of current automobile insurance
- Negative TB test
- Must be at least (18) years of age
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Responding to phone calls and delivering courteous and professional assistance to physicians and patients
- Initiating authorization requests for hospice and home health
- Verify eligibility and benefits
- Track referrals to ensure compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards
- Accept and perform other related duties and responsibilities as required
