As a Referral Specialist, you’ll be part of the Business Development Team, helping bridge new and ongoing relationships between clients, case managers, and our incredible team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). You’ll manage referrals from start to finish — ensuring that information flows smoothly, follow-ups happen quickly, and families get the help they need without delay. This is a highly interactive and community-facing role. You’ll frequently meet with prospective clients and families to learn about their support needs, discuss service options, and help them begin their journey with Essential Services. You’ll also work closely with case managers, brokerage partners, and county representatives to coordinate services, establish, and maintain strong, trusted relationships. Because of the hands-on nature of the position, this role requires regular local travel to client meetings, partner offices, and community events throughout the region.
