About The Position
The Referral Specialist at CFV Fayetteville Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is responsible for obtaining and verifying demographic, clinical, financial, and insurance information. This role ensures clinical and financial clearance by validating medical necessity for Medicare and Non-Medicare cases, processing physician orders/referrals, and conducting insurance eligibility verification. The specialist will also communicate pertinent information to patients, guarantors, and providers regarding referral status and follow-up actions.
