About The Position
The Referral & Resource Specialist position is a remote role that requires candidates to reside in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, or New York. This position is part of Carelon Behavioral Health, a member of the Elevance Health family, which provides clinical mental health and substance use disorder management, employee assistance programs, and specialty programs for autism and depression. The specialist will work on the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Help Line, utilizing knowledge of behavioral health social services and insurance systems to assist callers in crisis. The role involves screening, assessing, and providing telephonic intervention for helpline callers, ensuring compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and OSHA. The call center operates 24/7, and training is conducted Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm EST.
