About The Position

Provides Tier-2/3 engineering support across MTF networks; coordinates with Senior Engineers to sustain LAN/WLAN/WAN capabilities and support enterprise modernization.

Role Summary
Regional Key Personnel responsible for advanced routing/switching, security configuration, diagnostics, and modernization initiatives; coordinates across agencies and host-nation stakeholders to maintain performance and compliance.
Location: Europe Region MTFs (Germany, Italy, United Kingdom)

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with TCP/IP, XDM, HTTP/S, SMTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, RSTP, VRRP, BIND, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, PPP, HDLC, V.35, RS-449.
• LAN/WLAN/WAN diagnostics using SolarWinds, ARMIS, and Ansible.
• Firewall, IDS/IPS, and VPN configuration implementation.
• Cabling certification, OTDR use, and layer 1–7 fault isolation.
• Performance analysis to identify latency and bottlenecks across mediums and protocols.
• DoD 8140 – Network Operations Specialist (Intermediate level)
• Security+
• CCNA or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years; OR technical/vocational program and 8 years directly related experience.

• Conducts cabling certification
• Contributes to ATO-related evidence collection
