About The Position

The Referral Coordinator is responsible for all referrals for the medical offices in the market. This role involves processing patient referrals for the practices in the market, facilitating orders to outside facilities, and coordinating the scheduling of office visits for referred patients. Additionally, the Referral Coordinator assists patients in finding resources that accept various insurances, obtains pre-authorization from payers, and calls insurance companies to get medications approved that may have been denied due to formulary changes.
