This position is a full-time role that involves performing all aspects of referral management, including handling incoming and outgoing referrals, managing home health referrals, and processing EMR generated in-basket tasks and patient precertifications. The role also encompasses various front office responsibilities such as patient registration, answering phone lines, scheduling patient appointments, and assisting with routing patients' issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution. The individual will ensure that all demographic data is accurately collected and entered into the computer system, including insurance information, co-pay, and co-insurance details, as well as scanning identification and insurance cards as required. Proficiency in using EMR systems for practice management and electronic medical records is essential, as this will be the primary source of documentation for all patient visits and correspondence. The position requires the completion of all scheduled training to avoid delinquency, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in meetings and training sessions as directed. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
