About The Position

The Reference Data Senior Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy of automotive incentive data used by dealerships, lenders, and industry partners. In this role, you will review, enter, and maintain incentive program information from automotive manufacturers (OEMs) and lenders into our CAR&I platform — a system that powers pricing, payments, and incentive calculations across the automotive industry. You will also support assigned clients by helping them understand how to use CAR&I data, assisting with their integrations, troubleshooting technical questions, and leading regular business review meetings. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys detail‑oriented work, has strong analytical and communication skills, and is interested in the automotive and technology space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in roles involving data entry, data analysis, incentives, automotive support, or similar technical/analytical work.
  • Experience working with APIs, databases, or technical software tools.
  • Ability to learn and navigate proprietary systems quickly.
  • Proficient in Salesforce (SFX) or similar CRM/case management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex program rules.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and providing clear explanations.
  • Strong understanding of automotive industry structure, OEMs, incentives, leasing/financing programs, and related terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in fast‑paced environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to translate technical details into client‑friendly explanations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAR&I systems (or similar automotive incentive data platforms).
  • Prior client‑facing or account‑management experience.
  • Familiarity with data automation, structured rules logic, or data validation processes.
  • Experience supporting or working with dealers, lenders, or automotive data platforms is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain OEM and lender incentive data (including 3rd‑party lender programs) into CAR&I databases with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure proper application of program rules so that all CAR&I product outputs are accurate and do not negatively impact clients.
  • Collaborate with the DPA Team to support automation initiatives for assigned OEMs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of automotive market trends, OEM programs, and incentive structures.
  • Support medium to large clients using CAR&I data by understanding their use‑cases, workflows, and integration needs.
  • Provide technical and product support for CAR&I tools, including use of APIs and internal software.
  • Manage, document, and track client cases, interactions, and progress within Salesforce (SFX).
  • Conduct regular client touchpoints such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to maintain relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain internal reports, documentation, and activity logs related to client usage and performance.
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects as assigned.
