As a Reference Data Management, Senior Associate, you will manage third-party and internal data platforms, ensuring data quality and operational efficiency. You will work closely with vendors and internal partners to resolve data issues, optimize costs, and support business objectives. Your role will involve configuration management, requirements gathering, and project coordination, all while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • Strong business analysis skills with ability to draft current and future state process maps.
  • Effective stakeholder management and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Quick learner with ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of financial reference data (instrument, market, pricing, entity, valuation, Bloomberg data license, and platform awareness).
  • Basic project management experience, including preparing roadmaps and project plan documentation.
  • Strategic thinker comfortable collaborating with technology and architecture teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with vendor management coordination.
  • Technical expertise in Excel pivots & reports, Power BI/Tableau Dashboards, Alteryx, Python, and Postman/Swagger API testing.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to triage consumer data issues and drive resolutions.
  • Analyze vendor notifications to assess and prioritize consumer impact.
  • Partner with account owners to identify cost optimization opportunities and define implementation plans.
  • Perform configuration management tasks and prepare reports.
  • Gather requirements, write JIRA stories, prioritize tasks, and conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions.
  • Prepare and run meetings across various management levels, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills.
