About The Position

As a Reference Data Analyst, you will be responsible for executing the daily workflows to maintain the integrity of the security master file. You will collect, research, monitor, and review complex security and market data, recommending changes and escalating discrepancies for resolution. This role involves managing and executing requests through work queues to provide timely, accurate, and thorough support for complex and routine reference data inquiries. You will perform daily data validation to ensure the integrity and consistency of data across multiple platforms, and review and verify work with strong adherence to procedures and controls. You will lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements and contribute to departmental and firm-wide projects and initiatives. The role generally operates with independence and requires discretion in troubleshooting exceptions.

Requirements

  • Data analysis and data entry proficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a related field.
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Strong decision-making, organization, and communication skills.
  • Excellent client service orientation with a client-first mentality.
  • Strong follow-up skills and flexibility.
  • Time-management, problem-resolution, and research skills.
  • Experience with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
