About The Position

The Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Compliance Manager at the Virginia Employment Commission is responsible for ensuring compliance with DOL regulations related to the UI program and facilitating reemployment for selected claimants. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain program integrity and enhance performance through data analysis and policy implementation.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of the UI Program and UI claim integrity.
• Knowledge of the RESEA program.
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, financial and grants management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting data.

Nice To Haves

• Education or training in business administration or public administration.
• Experience working in a VEC/Virginia Works field office.
• Experience with interviewing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of the RESEA program with DOL regulations and agency requirements.
• Review daily samples of scheduling, UI claim review, and dispositioning of RESEA claimants.
• Review all RESEA-related ETA reports for accuracy prior to submission to DOL.
• Coordinate RESEA training for appropriate UI staff and Virginia Works staff.
• Act as the primary liaison with the Department of Labor for the RESEA program.
