Applicants must be a Veteran of military service. Research and recommend clients for intensive and various training services including Re-Employment Services, Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), Rapid Response, Veterans and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) which requires in-depth case management and vocational guidance. Screen applicants for eligibility for partner programs and utilize vocational guidance tools to assist applicants with core intensive services; work closely with partners in coordinating services of mutual clients. Lead and/or assist in the planning and execution of hiring events, workshops, and other meaningful workforce events. Work with employers to create employment opportunities for Veterans. Administer assessment instruments (tests, surveys, etc.) and other planning tools; interpret results and counsel clients. Utilize various means of technology to provide needed data. Conduct presentations and perform outreach activities through membership on various advisory boards, committees, and community organizations (some travel time necessary). Perform data entry and retrieval activities for various programs as necessary.
