Reefer Tech / Refrigeration Technician

About the position

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Reefer Technician / Refrigeration Technician at our Martin Brower facility in East Point, GA. You MUST have ThermoKing experience to be considered. Shifts available: Sunday-Thursday 3:00pm-11:30pm, Tuesday-Saturday 10:30am-7:00pm, Tuesday-Saturday 3:00pm-11:30pm, Tuesday-Saturday 10:00pm-6:30am.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair motor trucks and trailer equipment
• Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment
• Interpret complex schematics associated with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, identify warrantable repairs, and document them on the repair order
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions, provide additional support for preventative maintenance on tractor trailers, and inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers and pliers, as well as power tools
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Education or General Education Degree with 3 plus years of related experience
• The ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit and also regularly lift or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 100lbs
• Valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
