About The Position

The Boston Red Sox are excited to announce the Red Sox Junior Sales Associate program, a 9-month entry-level sales initiative designed for recent graduates eager to embark on a career in sports and entertainment sales. This program, part of the Red Sox Sales Academy established in April 2013, aims to cultivate the next generation of sales leaders in the industry. Participants will have the unique opportunity to work on-site at Fenway Park, engaging directly with the Full-Time sales team and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. As a Junior Sales Associate, you will be responsible for actively selling a variety of ticket inventory at Fenway Park, including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and special events. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, with a minimum expectation of 125 sales activities per day, which includes making cold calls, sending emails, and following up on referrals from current customers. You will also be expected to secure at least two appointments per week, providing excellent customer service to both prospects and existing clients over the phone and during games. The program not only focuses on sales skills but also emphasizes the importance of representing the Boston Red Sox in a positive and professional manner at all times. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong desire to break into the professional sports industry, and it offers a pathway to various full-time positions within the organization and beyond, as evidenced by the success of previous Academy graduates.
