About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Red Hat Linux Administrator to join our team in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Red Hat Linux systems in a fast-paced environment. The Red Hat Linux Administrator will work closely with the IT team to ensure the stability and security of our Linux infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3-5 Years of proven experience as a Red Hat Linux Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux operating system
- Experience with automated configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
- Familiar in programming/scripting skills for automation (Bash, Ruby, Python, etc.)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting engine to automate tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Install and configure Red Hat Linux systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement security measures to protect the Linux infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT team to design and implement new solutions
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity
