Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong employee development coaching, and performance management experience.
  • Previous experience in electronic or metal recycling
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety practices
  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, collaborative, and engaging work environment
  • Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of EPC experience.
  • Hands-on experience with balers, conveyors, sorting lines, or similar machinery.
  • Familiarity with e-Stewards, ISO 14001, or similar environmental health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership, direction, support and development to De-manufacturing team.
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign daily work based on operational needs and production goals.
  • Effectively utilize labor, equipment, and materials to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Monitor workflow and productivity to ensure quality, compliance, and on-time completion.
  • Coach, train, and develop employees to improve performance and promote engagement.
  • Keep employee records such as weekly timecards, attendance points, annual reviews, and PIPs
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to support operational success.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee the safe operation, maintenance coordination, and workflow scheduling of specialized recycling equipment, including balers, HDD and SSD shredders, foam densifiers, and large-scale shredding and sorting system for whole electronic equipment.
  • Lead emergency preparedness efforts for recycling operation, including spill response, equipment malfunction procedures, fire prevention, and incident reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned by Department Leadership
