About The Position
National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services nationwide. The company is seeking a Metal Recycling Sorter in Chicago, IL. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks to support the recycling operation, specifically handling and sorting materials such as aluminum, copper, and brass. The position also requires keeping the work area clean and working collaboratively as part of a team. Training will be provided, and important qualities for this role include attention to detail and teamwork.
Requirements
- Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse team
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work
- Must wear steel-toe boots
- Must have two valid forms of ID to apply
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Background check is required
- Drug test is required
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift
