Schedule: Monday-Friday 1PM-3AM Recycling Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing repair and maintenance on equipment in a plant.

Requirements

Ability to recognize and avoid electrical hazards
Skilled in teamwork and working cross-functionally
Ability to comprehend and follow safety policies and procedures to determine the level of hazard, proper PPE needed, and job planning to safely perform the task
Ability to be trained to operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, man-lifts, and skid steer loaders
Ability to use heavy industrial shop tools and equipment
1-2 years experience in industrial maintenance is preferred
Frequently lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 75 lbs. Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 100 lbs
Frequently working outside in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditions
Frequently working in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter
Frequently stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling
Frequently climbing and/or balancing
Frequently sitting/standing/walking
Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas
Exposure to residential and commercial waste
Ability to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as needed
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
Must be able to read and speak the English language

Responsibilities

Perform all preventive maintenance duties to equipment according to maintenance schedules
Track daily work performed and inventory used via work tracking processes and software in place
Continually monitor machinery and make necessary adjustment(s) and repairs to ensure proper operation
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA standards
Complete all paperwork and/or electronic updates as required
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
Perform all duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
Other duties as assigned
