The Recycling Center Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing Recycling Center equipment across one or more locations and leading a team of technicians (mechanics). This team is tasked with the preventive maintenance and repair of fixed and mobile equipment, as well as building and facility maintenance. The manager supervises daily repair work and the preventative maintenance program. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining equipment and machinery at post-collection facilities and managing container shops. The role involves providing direction to technicians to ensure all repairs and maintenance of Republic Services’ machinery and equipment, including stationary recycling equipment, trucks, containers, powered industrial lifts, and other heavy-duty equipment, comply with Company safety and maintenance standards, and all federal and state regulations.
