At Sibanye-Stillwater, the Recycle and Analytical Laboratory Supervisor - Senior will provide direct supervision of the hourly and salary workforce in the Recycle operations department. The Supervisor - Senior will understand and articulate the specific short term and the general, longer-term goals of the company and always maintain, protect, and preserve the facilities assets. This position uses hands-on experience, training, and knowledge to schedule and provide the resources for the completion of production recycle work. This individual must have technical knowledge of recycle operations and computer software with the ability to guide, direct, and motivate both hourly and salary personnel. This position requires routine communication, collaboration, and interaction with peers and management. In additional to the work in the Recycle Department, the Supervisor - Senior will have partial administrative responsibly for the Lab Information Management System (LIMS). The Recycle Senior Supervisor's primary duties are: Foster an inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and actively seek feedback from the workforce for continuous improvements. Promote and maintain a safe work environment, safe work practices, and a strong safety culture. Ensure that Environmental Excellence is practiced throughout the facility. Oversee the daily workflow of their assigned crew and is responsible for communication and directing the Recycle labor force, while coordinating with other company personnel, and management . Provides constructive and timely performance feedback for direct reports. Ensure that employees have all the necessary tools, knowledge, and skills to perform their jobs safely and efficiently. Hold people accountable in a consistent manner, document performance as required, resolve non-conformance issues, and address employee issues with appropriate resources. Communicate production and safety goals with the crew, maintain maintenance and training schedules, manage timecards, and perform record keeping duties as directed. Understand costs associated with scope of work and resources to ensure decisions align with business needs. Collect and assemble information to communicate accurate pass downs. Perform timely incident/accident investigations, complete required documents, and communicate findings to appropriate recipients per expected schedules. Prepare Work Orders and interface with the Maintenance department on equipment requirements and activities. Execute and document Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities. Facilitate training opportunities and document completion. Monitor the Recycling Business performance to ensure overall targets and weekly plans are achieved. Daily and Monthly Reporting of Recycling Business Metrics. Data entry, record keeping, and accounting of all Recycling Business sampling and analytical data. Other duties as assigned
