Holy Innocents' is searching for a new Rector who will be the next shepherd for our parish. We are known for inspired preaching and a rich musical and liturgical tradition. We are a generously endowed parish with a recently renovated rectory. Our church is located in a beach-side community with a year-round population of mostly older parishioners and an influx of vacationers in the Summer. We are looking for a rector to lead us into the future and inspire continued growth of our congregation. Do we need to reach out to the schools? Do we need a bus to bring worshippers from the mainland? There are many families who live on the island and consider us “their church” for baptisms, weddings and funerals but who don't come on Sunday mornings. There is so much opportunity here to widen the reach of Christ's love throughout the community. We hope you will think about how you can help this wonderful parish meet the challenges of the future.
