Are you an experienced Recruitment lead looking for your next challenge in the Financial Services and Technology sectors? Lawrence Harvey New York is hiring a Recruitment Lead to inherit, build, grow a 360 desk and shape a dynamic team within the evolving technological landscape . If you have experience building a market from the ground up and retaining large revenue generating accounts with management ambitions, we want to hear from you—even if your experience is in a different market. This pivotal role will help drive the success and expansion of our Lawrence Harvey success 2025 and beyond. LHi Group is a people business. We are an employee-owned recruitment firm consisting of four specialist, non-competing brands spanning North America, the UK, and Europe. Our group brands are niche recruitment businesses within Technology, Life Sciences, Built Environment and Renewable Energy. Due to our innovative sectors and talented people, LHi Group has recorded 8 years of USA growth, reaching a 90% increase in invoice and 41% headcount growth, from 5 people to 200 people across 4 US offices in this time. Our Lawrence Harvey division has been our backbone brand that has evolved and been at the forefront of new market expansion since its birth in 2002. We are seeking a Recruitment lead to level up our permanent recruitment teams within LHi Group's Lawrence Harvey brand to help drive our company's vision and market success through high level and significant hiring and sales strategy. New York is the largest of our four US offices, we have an entire floor, in the heart of FiDi (Financial District) Manhattan, around the corner from Fulton Street Station, which is perfectly positioned for commuters from Brooklyn, Jersey and Manhattan. The office is surrounded by all the amenities you could need and boasts enviable views of the Manhattan Skyline including the Brooklyn Bridge and One World Trade to name a few.

Requirements

• Proven track-record of success building a recruitment desk mentoring or managing a team buildout
• Sales and Recruitment experience required
• A desire for in-office presence with management/leadership aspirations
• Experience in leading a candidate focused team to generate healthy revenue and maintain business
• A self-motivated, and self-starter attitude with the ability to identify, and create new opportunities alongside our global top billing leadership team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Team Management & Support : Lead and support a small team, providing guidance, training, goal-setting, and regular performance reviews to ensure all targets are exceeded.
• Hiring : Sourcing, interviewing, and selecting talent to ensure team growth and alignment with company growth goals. Ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
• Business Development : Actively engage in generating new business by identifying potential clients, pitching recruitment services, and negotiating contracts to bring in revenue for the company and roles for your team to support on.
• Candidate Sourcing & Placement : Participate in the recruitment process by sourcing, interviewing, and placing high-quality candidates for open roles, ensuring personal billings contribute to overall revenue.
• Administrative & Reporting Tasks : Handle administrative tasks like reporting key metrics to senior leadership, while also managing team workflows and priorities.
