About The Position

We’re looking for a results-driven Recruitment Delivery Manager to lead and optimise high volume recruitment delivery within our Public Sector operations. This role is central to ensuring recruitment excellence, managing a high-performing team, and collaborating with sourcing and operational leaders to deliver quality hires at scale. You’ll be responsible for driving strategy, reducing dropouts and early attrition, and engaging in high-level conversations that shape the future of our talent delivery within your sector of the business. A key part of the role is developing and growing our Social Value recruitment strategy. The role requires you to be on site a minimum of 3 days per week in either our Gateshead or Manchester site.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment in a BPO or similar fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and coordinators to meet volume hiring targets.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support career development.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of recruitment campaigns across multiple sites and functions.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing Manager, Director of Recruitment and your operational partners/Hiring managers to align candidate pipelines with business needs.
  • Monitor recruitment KPIs and SLAs, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Work to develop relationships with key strategic social value partners building these out across our key locations as well as in some cases nationally
  • Use data and analytics in partnership with MI and the DWP operational team to provide a targeted approach, cultivating accountability with our partners driving growth and further success
  • Create partner agreements and hold monthly/quarterly reviews to breakdown the status of the relationship, agreement and drive improvements
  • Partner with DWP operational leaders to forecast hiring needs and tailor recruitment strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in workforce planning, talent trends, and market insights.
  • Lead high-level conversations with senior DWP stakeholders to influence recruitment outcomes.
  • Implement strategies to improve candidate experience, reduce dropout, and minimise early 30/60/90 days attrition.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and root causes of attrition, and take corrective action.
  • Ensure quality of hire through robust assessment and selection processes. Ensuring this strategy allows you to meet not just the hiring need but the quality requirement on the campaign.
