About The Position

The Recruitment and Engagement Manager is a multi-faceted position for someone eager to break into a growing company, Commonwise Home Care. Commonwise is challenging (and changing) the way the Home Care Industry works. This company is like none other in terms of its creativity, vitality and general joyful disposition in the face of life’s more poignant, meaningful moments. The ideal candidate will enjoy meeting new people and readily engage with the mission of preserving the dignity of our aging clients and, as importantly, infusing dignity into the professional lives of our Caregiving team.. Throughout the day, the role varies between interviewing new caregivers (phone & in-person) and many “fly-by” debriefs on things that have “gone sideways” between caregivers and clients. LOTS of notes taken and use of various software platforms to track the work and exchanges. LOTS of coffee or its equivalent. Are you the kind of person who can be engaged talking to anybody? Be they a barista or a banker? An Uber driver or a scientist? Do you have the ability to discern untapped potential in others by looking beneath the surface of things? Can you teach and explain things in memorable ways? Are you good at encouraging and coaching others?
