About The Position

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Recruiting Strategist to join NaphCare’s Talent Acquisition team at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL The Recruiting Strategist partners closely with Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs) to build and sustain strong, proactive candidate pipelines. This role is responsible for strategic sourcing, candidate engagement, and market outreach to ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs. This position focuses on identifying talent before it is urgently needed, engaging passive candidates, and strengthening recruitment strategy through research, outreach, and data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–3 years of sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, database search tools, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and professional outreach presence.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for high-priority and frequently filled roles.
  • Proactively source qualified candidates using databases, job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and third-party sourcing platforms.
  • Mine internal and external talent pools to identify high-potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain organized talent pipelines aligned with workforce planning needs.
  • Candidate Outreach & Engagement
  • Initiate outreach campaigns to passive and active candidates.
  • Conduct initial engagement conversations to assess interest, qualifications, availability, and licensure (if applicable).
  • Present opportunities in a compelling and professional manner.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and relationship-building with prospective candidates.
  • Partnership & Coordination
  • Work in collaboration with Talent Acquisition Partners to align sourcing efforts with hiring manager needs.
  • Transition qualified and interested candidates to TAPs for screening and interview processes.
  • Coordinate scheduling and follow-up as directed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of candidate activity within the applicant tracking system.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Provide insight into candidate availability, compensation trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Track sourcing metrics and pipeline activity to measure effectiveness.
  • Recommend adjustments to sourcing strategy based on data and hiring trends.
  • Compliance & Process Support
  • Ensure sourcing practices align with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Support recruitment marketing initiatives and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Assist with career fair and conference preparation as needed.
