About The Position
Schneider is seeking a Recruiting Specialist in Green Bay who will play a crucial role in the recruitment process for truck drivers. This position involves making initial contact with potential candidates through various communication channels, including answering phone calls, making outbound calls, and sending text and online messages. The Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for addressing candidates' inquiries regarding Schneider's driving jobs and ensuring that they meet the necessary qualifications before scheduling interviews with Driver Recruiters. This role is essential in maintaining a positive candidate experience and ensuring that the recruitment process runs smoothly. In this position, the Recruiting Specialist will handle incoming phone calls, chat messages, and text messages from truck driver candidates. They will follow up with applicants as needed and review candidate applications to identify any disqualifying factors. The Specialist will screen candidates and provide answers to their questions about the driving positions they have applied for. If a candidate is not a suitable fit for the job they applied for, the Recruiting Specialist will discuss other opportunities within the company that may align better with the candidate's qualifications. Additionally, the Specialist will be responsible for making hiring decisions based on the qualifications of the candidates they interact with, ensuring that Schneider attracts the best talent for its driving positions.
