About The Position

As the Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator, you’ll support recruiting and onboarding operations by assisting with onboarding activities and ensuring a smooth transition from hire to new employee. This is your opportunity to support critical hiring processes by keeping onboarding steps organized, accurate, and on track. You’ll bring strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a collaborative approach while working under the supervision of the Onboarding Lead.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of onboarding, recruiting coordination, or HR support experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and escalate issues as needed
  • Collaborative mindset with a positive and proactive approach

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding activities for new hires and assist with guiding them through required onboarding steps
  • Assist with managing onboarding tasks such as background checks, drug tests, and MVR screenings to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate paid interview project logistics when applicable, including scheduling and documentation on behalf of recruiters
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition to support the recruiting process with ad hoc tasks as needed (e.g. escorting candidates to conference rooms, taking notes during intake calls, etc.)
  • Support the transition from candidate to new hire by preparing onboarding materials and required documentation
  • Assist with various HR projects, such as filing, document review and secure shredding, maintaining department SharePoint.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding and hiring records in ATS and HR systems
  • Track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding items
  • Support compliance with onboarding policies and internal procedures
