  • Partner closely with Hiring Managers across multiple states to proactively identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth, timely hiring process.
  • Educate Hiring Managers on recruiting processes, tools, and best practices to support high-quality, consistent hiring outcomes.
  • Collaborate with department managers to create detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled craft workers and professional talent by leveraging industry networks, trade partnerships, and community resources.
  • Attract, source, and screen candidates using job boards, social platforms, referrals, and other innovative recruiting channels.
  • Promote Binswanger as an employer of choice and encourage employee referrals.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the recruiting process through automation, improved workflows, and the thoughtful use of AI tools.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by evaluating current recruiting practices and proposing solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and candidate engagement.
  • Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Seek out new technologies, sourcing tools, and data-driven methods to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Conduct interviews, coordinate follow-up steps, complete reference checks, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external staffing and recruitment agencies.
  • Coordinate Job Fairs and Hiring Events across multiple states.
  • Provide weekly recruiting reports and insights to the Leadership team.
  • Research and explore talent partnerships with trade schools, community colleges, workforce agencies, and other organizations.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement talent programs that support long-term hiring needs.
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably within the construction or skilled trades industry.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and relationship-building skills, with a high degree of perseverance and follow-through.
  • Knowledge of federal and state hiring laws, regulations, and recruitment best practices.
  • Solid interviewing skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing all stages of the selection process.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-service driven mindset.
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly; ATS experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
