About The Position

The Recruiting Manager for Amazon's Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing recruiting team. This role focuses on driving sourcing capabilities and delivery across a geographically dispersed team, ensuring the proactive building of diverse candidate pools. The manager will partner with key stakeholders to determine future talent needs and set sourcing strategies, leveraging strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree.
• 5+ years of Recruiting and/or HR experience.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• 2+ years of experience building, coaching, and managing a recruiting team.
• 2+ years of experience managing large dispersed recruiting/sourcing teams.
• 2+ years of experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and client relationships.
• Strong analytical skills to translate metrics, research, and trends into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sourcing capability and delivery across a geographically dispersed team within North America.
• Partner with key business, HR, and TA stakeholders to determine future talent needs and set sourcing strategies.
• Conduct extensive market research to understand talent channels both domestically and internationally.
• Lead and develop a high-performing recruiting team in a fast-paced environment.
• Set team performance goals, metrics, and timelines, and track progress formally.
• Develop and execute plans to improve productivity and meet hiring goals.
• Manage senior staff and staffing managers effectively.
• Create, measure, and scale workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
