About The Position

Alpen Labs is seeking a Recruiting Lead to drive our talent strategy and full-cycle recruiting as we scale our team. This role will partner closely with founders, hiring managers, and People Ops to attract, hire, and retain top talent while ensuring a world-class candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in fast-growing, technical, or startup environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in hiring technically focused teams.
  • Passion for building diverse, high-performing teams and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Comfortable leveraging recruiting metrics and ATS systems to drive continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of the Web 3 and Crypto market is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with founders and hiring managers to understand workforce planning and headcount priorities.
  • Build a clear recruiting roadmap that aligns with company milestones and funding stage.
  • Advise leadership on market trends, compensation insights, and sourcing strategies.
  • Own sourcing, outreach, screening, interviewing, and offer processes for all open roles.
  • Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines using direct sourcing, referrals, and external networks.
  • Manage scheduling and logistics for interviews, ensuring a smooth experience for candidates and interviewers alike.
  • Draft compelling job descriptions and manage postings across platforms (Greenhouse, LinkedIn, niche job boards).
  • Act as the face of Alpen Labs for candidates, showcasing our culture and mission.
  • Ensure a high-quality, consistent candidate experience from first touchpoint to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with People Ops and Marketing on employer brand initiatives (careers page, social media, events).
  • Maintain and optimise our ATS (Greenhouse), ensuring data accuracy and useful reporting.
  • Introduce lightweight metrics and dashboards to track recruiting health (pipeline diversity, time-to-fill, source effectiveness).
  • Document and iterate on recruiting best practices and interview guides.
  • Regularly update founders and hiring managers on search progress and candidate feedback.
  • Train and support interviewers on effective, unbiased evaluation.
  • Coordinate closely with People Ops on compensation, offers, and onboarding.
