About The Position

The Recruiting Project Intern will support various initiatives within the recruiting department, focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Military Veteran Hiring Initiatives, and the BMW Legacy Program. This role emphasizes active engagement and practical experiences, allowing interns to contribute significantly to their learning journey while providing essential administrative and project management support.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's or 4-year degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills (graphs, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
• Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript and pass a substance abuse test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in event planning or project management.
• Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
• Previous involvement in DEI initiatives or community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support DEI efforts to create a more inclusive workplace.
• Provide administrative support for event planning and coordination.
• Assist in project management, including tracking and reporting.
• Conduct research and analyze data to evaluate business strategies.
• Create PowerPoint presentations for meetings and events.
• Participate in new hire onboarding and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate community-based events and initiatives.
• Provide general administrative support and manage correspondence.
• Schedule meeting room facilities as needed.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned by team members.
