About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Assistant to join our team! The Recruiting Assistant supports the full-cycle recruitment process to help attract, hire, and onboard qualified EMTs, Paramedics, Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapist, Dispatchers, and administrative staff. This position helps ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience while assisting Premier Ambulance in attracting and hiring top-tier healthcare and operations professionals. In addition to recruiting responsibilities, this position will assist the President with daily administrative tasks and special projects as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1–3 years of recruiting or administrative experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, track data, and manage calendars
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, EMS, or ambulance industry experience
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems

Responsibilities

  • Monitor applicant flow
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews
  • Conduct in person interviews (as needed)
  • Maintain applicant tracking and recruitment databases
  • Assist with background checks, drug screenings, and license verification
  • Prepare onboarding paperwork and coordinate orientation
  • Issue and track employee uniforms and vouchers
  • Maintain uniform inventory
  • Ensure certifications and employment documentation are current and compliant
  • Provide administrative support to the recruiting team
  • Executive support for President (as needed)
