About The Position

Winfield Security has successfully provided security services for over 45 years and is now a part of the Tarian Group of Security Companies. We are based in Midtown Manhattan and we provide unarmed Security Guard Services to a large variety of clients throughout New York City. Our staff is provided competitive wages, training, and an environment to succeed. We are growing and we are looking for a new recruiter to join our team! The ideal candidate will have strong social and leadership skills, experienced negotiating strategies and excellent organizational abilities. He/she should be familiar with recruitment marketing strategies that effectively attract and retain top talent.

Requirements

  • 1 year of direct recruiting experience managing all phases of the process is a plus.
  • Detail driven and highly organized.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; and excellent ability to collaborate with others to achieve goals.
  • Proactive sourcing tactics and substantial initiative.
  • Excellent time management abilities and a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage talent acquisition - Post jobs and ads in select locations.
  • Screen and source qualified applicants and resumes with the use of an applicant tracking system.
  • Coordinate the interview process with Account Managers.
  • Gather interview feedback and enter data into the applicant tracking system.
  • Communicate with applicants during and after the interview process.
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.
  • Manage all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Work with leadership to understand the hiring needs of the organization.
  • Create exciting and useful recruiting tactics to attract a high volume of top-performing security officers.
  • Draft and create job descriptions as needed.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team needs and facilitate candidate lifecycle processes.
  • Phone screen candidates, schedule interviews, draft questions, attend job fairs and other recruiting events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Special projects as necessary.
