About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will lead and execute recruitment strategies through social media, community events, connecting with colleges/high schools/trade schools, and across our bakery sites, ensuring a consistent and engaging candidate experience. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to attract top-tier talent, drive process improvements, and promote our employer brand. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Talent Acquisition Specialist Credential (required).
  • SHRM PHR Certification (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment roles.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS system software (ADP preferred but not required).
  • LMS experience preferred (Alchemy platform a plus).
  • Exceptional communication skills and an outgoing personality to keep candidate engagement high.
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Process-oriented and driven to implement consistent recruiting practices.
  • Ability to personalize interactions, making candidates feel valued and welcomed.
  • Comfortable with local travel and occasional evening/weekend commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies across multiple bakery sites.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Ensure a personalized and engaging candidate experience to attract and retain top talent.
  • Leverage ATS and HRIS systems (preferably ADP) to manage and track recruitment data.
  • Utilize LMS tools (Alchemy platform preferred) to support onboarding and compliance.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Represent the company at local job fairs, networking events, and recruitment activities, including occasional evening and weekend commitments.
  • Maintain a strong employer brand across various channels and candidate touchpoints.
  • Report on key recruiting metrics to leadership and recommend process enhancements.
