About The Position

American Equipment Holdings is a leading provider of overhead crane and hoist solutions, comprised of American Equipment, Allied Crane, Eastern Crane and Hoist, Facilities Engineering, Kistler Crane and Hoist, Pacific Crane and Hoist, and Washington Crane and Hoist. We are one of the largest independently owned crane and hoist service providers in the country, serving more than 4,000 customers nationwide. Our services include OSHA mandated inspections, preventative maintenance, repair, parts, engineering, ISO certified fabrication, new and replacement equipment, system modernizations, automation, and training. We support customers across industrial, automotive, mining, utilities, aerospace, defense, energy, and other heavy industry markets. Position Summary The Recruiter will lead full cycle recruiting efforts supporting multiple branches and business units. This role will focus primarily on skilled trades, field service technicians, and other technical roles, in addition to select exempt positions. This individual will partner closely with operations leadership to understand hiring needs, develop proactive sourcing strategies, and deliver qualified talent in competitive labor markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 4 to 5 years of full cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting skilled trades, manufacturing, construction, industrial, or field service roles strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to source passive candidates in competitive labor markets
  • Strong communication and partnership skills with hiring managers
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
  • Proof of right to lawfully work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting from intake meeting through offer acceptance
  • Partner with branch and operations leaders to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for skilled trades, technicians, mechanics, fabricators, welders, and other technical roles
  • Build and maintain active talent pipelines for hard to fill positions
  • Source candidates through job boards, social platforms, referrals, trade schools, veteran outreach programs, and industry networking
  • Screen and evaluate candidates for technical capability and cultural fit
  • Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers throughout the selection process
  • Support offer development including compensation recommendations and negotiation
  • Track recruiting activity and hiring metrics including time to fill and candidate flow
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Support employer branding efforts and community recruiting initiatives
