About The Position

The individual selected for this role will play a key part in driving the recruitment efforts at Steam, ensuring the successful onboarding of top-tier talent across the organization. As a Recruiter, you will support the identification, evaluation, and recommendation of candidates to hiring managers in departments such as Sales, Operations, Accounting, and others with hiring needs. You will serve as a strong ambassador of Steam’s culture and values, embodying our brand and acting as a champion for our continued growth through strategic hiring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management or similar.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a relevant professional setting and past experience in a talent acquisition role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and self-motivation skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity and potential to go beyond the described role as the team responsibilities evolve.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels and functions of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your substantial skillset to help us create, refine and execute our strategic recruiting plan, and hit the ground running to help us hit our hiring goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to understand key positions within those teams and the hiring criteria and qualifications of each role.
  • You’ll use your talent acquisition expertise to grow our teams while helping develop procedures and better hiring practices at Steam.
  • Utilize various communications methods and software tools to maintain a constant level of activity around outreach to potential job candidates, aligning to established KPIs.
  • Travel as necessary to attend college recruiting events or other job placement functions.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and recruiting techniques to drive optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain effective reporting mechanisms to provide visibility and transparency into the recruiting process, to be shared with leadership.
  • Align approach with Steam’s desire to establish and maintain a diverse workforce.
  • Boldly uphold Steam’s maxims by adhering to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation Steam to all potential and current team members.
  • Assist in the onboarding process of all new employees.
  • Provide collaborative assistance with onboarding procedures and new initiatives with respect to how new Steam team members enter the company to set them up for success.
