Job Summary The Insurance Agent Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and onboarding new and aspiring insurance agents to grow the agency’s sales force. This role focuses on sourcing candidates, promoting the agency opportunity, guiding prospects through the licensing and onboarding process, and building a long-term pipeline of quality candidates. Responsibilities

  • Proactively recruit new and aspiring insurance agents through referrals, job boards, social media, networking events, career fairs, and community outreach
  • Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial phone and virtual interviews to assess candidate fit, motivation, and career goals
  • Promote the agency’s value proposition, culture, compensation structure, and career growth opportunities
  • Guide candidates through the hiring process, including background checks, appointments, and licensing requirements
  • Support aspiring agents through pre-licensing education and exam preparation
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training with agency leadership
  • Maintain accurate recruiting records and candidate tracking
  • Assist in creating recruiting content (social media posts, job ads, emails, presentations)
  • Represent the agency professionally at recruiting events and online platforms
  • Build long-term relationships with candidates, even if they are not immediately ready to start
  • Track recruiting metrics such as leads generated, interviews conducted, hires made, and retention
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly recruiting goals
  • Provide regular updates and insights to agency leadership
