About The Position

The Recruiter manages the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire high-quality candidates in support of organizational staffing needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, develop effective sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The Recruiter works collaboratively with the Senior Recruiter and the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to align recruitment efforts with departmental priorities, support strategic initiatives, and maintain consistent recruitment practices. This position is expected to communicate proactively, implement feedback, exercise sound judgment, and maintain ownership of assigned requisitions while contributing to a cohesive and high-performing Talent Acquisition team. Requirements

  • Working knowledge of full-cycle recruitment practices, employment laws, and hiring regulations.
  • Ability to effectively source, screen, and evaluate candidates using a variety of recruitment methods and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and team members.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the Senior Recruiter and Talent Acquisition team while also demonstrating ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in job postings, recruitment reports, and candidate communications.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms; experience with UKG preferred.
  • Skilled in using social media and professional networks to support sourcing and employer branding efforts.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment data and apply insights to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and organizational needs.
  • Commitment to providing a positive and inclusive candidate experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience required, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the hiring process. Experience limited to interview coordination or administrative scheduling alone does not meet this requirement.
  • Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven track record of recruiting in healthcare and/or community behavioral health settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, clarify job requirements, and support effective recruitment plans.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the recruitment lifecycle including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Actively source candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social platforms, networking, and talent databases.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Candidate Experience: Provide timely communication to applicants and ensure a professional and welcoming recruitment process.
  • Recruitment Process Support: Follow established recruitment workflows, maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations.
  • Employer Brand Support: Represent the organization professionally and support initiatives that strengthen the employer brand.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate recruitment data and assist with reporting as requested.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with approved job boards and external partners as needed to support recruiting efforts.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships across departments, engaging with vendors, applicants, management and leadership in a manner that values diverse perspectives and lived experiences. Contributes to a respectful and inclusive work environment by practicing cultural humility, promoting equity in services and decision-making, and supporting efforts that foster a sense of belonging for all.
