About The Position

As part of the People Operations team, this position will provide sourcing and recruiting support with sourcing passive and reviewing active candidates. The recruiter is a trusted adviser to hiring managers and candidates. This position is responsible for identifying and engaging with top talent, driving recruiting best practices, and delivering an exceptional recruiting experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience full cycle recruiting (corporate or agency)
  • Utilize sourcing expertise to identify, attract, and engage active and passive talent for a variety of technical roles
  • Willingness to support and learn any role across the organization (trades, G&A, corporate, engineering). Sourcing experience in industrial skilled trades roles is a plus
  • Knowledge of the local market, labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience with a modern ATS, preferably UKG Pro

Responsibilities

  • Full cycle recruiting with experience hiring technical field hourly roles: relay technicians, power plant operators, generator technicians, etc.
  • Sourcing and Attracting Candidates: Identify and source candidates (passive and active channels) for open positions from traditional and non-traditional resources, including online sourcing, talent mapping, market news, networking, onsite events, tradeschool programs and military recruiting
  • Screening and Assessing Candidates: Source, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, and assessing candidates' technical skills and qualifications to determine their suitability for specific positions. This may involve conducting technical interviews or coordinating technical assessments.
  • Conducting intake meetings with hiring managers to thoroughly understand the details of a job opening including: required skills, desired candidate profile, responsibilities, and timeline.
  • Interviewing and Selection: Coordinating and conducting interviews with candidates, either individually or in collaboration with hiring managers and technical teams.
  • Providing guidance and recommendations based on the evaluation of candidates' technical abilities, cultural fit, and overall suitability for the organization.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates, industry professionals, and relevant academic institutions to stay informedabout the latest developments in power-related technologies and identify top talent.
  • Market Research: Staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis to provide insights and recommendations for attracting and retaining top talent.
