Overview: The Recruiter focuses on the early stages of the hiring process including sourcing, engagement, and qualification of candidates while maintaining an understanding of growth initiatives to foster candidate pipelines and help drive recruiting efforts through job market changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communication or related study required
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in recruiting with a focus in sourcing
  • At least 1 year working in financial or professional services industry
  • Thorough experience in leveraging recruiting technology, search techniques and professional networks to build strong candidate pipelines
  • Proven track record in building relations internally and externally
  • Exceptional interpersonal to build positive relations and communicate effectively
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software
  • Thorough knowledge of talent market for professional services roles and competitor landscape
  • Outstanding and effective communication especially with external parties, stakeholders, and senior leadership
  • Thorough understanding of business functions and business operational acumen
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple roles
  • Ability to navigate recruiting technology tools and social media platforms
  • Working understanding of the industry, job market trends, and talent sourcing techniques

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identifies and engages potential candidates, often passive talent, to build pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Develops and facilitates innovative, proactive sourcing strategies to attract top talent
  • Leverages recruiting technology, social media platforms and professional networks to connect with talent and foster candidate relationships
  • Compose candidate outreach messages for the team that are personalized and compelling to generate interest
  • Build and maintain talent databases, creating candidate pipelines for future roles
  • Foster quality working relationships with Leaders and Talent Acquisition team to identify needs, candidate profiles, and requirements for future planning
  • Conduct initial assessments to gauge candidate qualifications, interest, and salary requirements
  • Track key metrics such as outreach response rates, conversion ratios, and source effectiveness
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Maintains strong knowledge industry, job market trends, and talent sourcing techniques
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs, hiring events and all recruiting sessions
  • Promotes the highest level of professionalism and image for the credit union
